Well, we had our three beautiful days of autumn. Peter and I were out walking one day and he was mystified by the sound of the dry leaves blowing across the asphalt. What a fun time we had chasing leaves down! And now, we move on to winter! Yay!!! Chili and hot chocolate!! Sliding on the snow covered roads! Snowmen! What a wonderful day!
It just isn't time for Halloween without three feet of snow! Here are some pictures of today. It was Polly's first experience with snow and she LOVES it :)
Oh, btw, we had so much time to play in the snow because church was cancelled today!

Man...I miss the snow...can't wait for Germany.
Was church cancelled because of the snow. I thought everyone walked to church because the town is so small. Can't you just grind up dried potatoes and spread them on the roads for traction. Then in the spring you could scoop them al up and use them for hashbrowns.
